White Chocolate Oreo Ghosts

I don't know why, but I am really into Halloween food and love all of the creativity everywhere! I saw a similar idea for these White Chocolate Oreo Ghosts on Pinterest a few weeks ago, but it used icing instead of white chocolate and Chips Ahoy cookies instead of Oreos. A marshmallow covered in icing didn't sound very good to me and neither did the chocolate chip cookie underneath it all.

So then I thought that white chocolate would be really fun to pour on, which it is. Also, I don't know if you've ever had white chocolate covered Oreos, but they're amazing! So not only are these ghosts cute, but they taste great, too.

These would be perfect for a class party if they were already prepared and the kids just decorated their faces. They're also really fun to make at home as well!

White Chocolate Oreo Ghosts

10 Oreo cookies

8 oz. vanilla melting wafers

10 large marshmallows

black writing gel (found in the cake section)

1. Melt vanilla wafers in a microwave-safe bowl according to package directions.

2. Lightly dip the bottom of a marshmallow into the melted white chocolate and stick on top of an Oreo. Repeat with remaining marshmallows.

3. Scoop 1 tablespoon of melted white chocolate and pour on top of the marshmallow, gently swirling with the spoon, so it will run down the sides. Use the back of the tablespoon to guide the chocolate down the sides, if needed. Repeat with the rest of the chocolate.

4. Let completely dry until the white chocolate has hardened. Use the black writing gel to create a face for the ghost.
