Ham and Cheese Pasta
I don't think there's a better combo than ham and cheese so why not throw it together in a pasta dish? This pasta is so cheesy and when combined with some leftover ham, the flavor is amazing. This dish comes together in no time and would make the perfect weeknight meal. You've got to try it!
Ham and Cheese Pasta
8 oz. bowtie pasta
1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1/4 cup onion, finely diced
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. garlic, minced
1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1/4 cup chicken broth
8 oz. leftover ham, diced
4 oz. Swiss cheese, shredded
1/4 cup shredded parmesan
1. Prepare pasta according to package directions.
2. Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Once melted, add in onion, salt and pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until onion is tender.
3. Add in garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in the mustard and chicken broth.
4. Add in ham and cooked pasta and cook until ham is heated through. Remove from heat and stir in Swiss and parmesan cheese until melted.
5. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
