Simple Crostini
It's that time of year again when all of the family, friend, church and work holiday parties start taking place and you need yummy appetizers. While dip recipes are easy to find, the "dippers" can be a little trickier to come up with. Enter these Simple Crostini that are so easy to make and go perfectly with any dip! They are buttery, crisp, but soft on the inside and so addicting. Make sure you make a batch for your next get together!
Simple Crostini
Adapted from All Recipes
1 day old baguette
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Slice the baguette crosswise into 1/4-inch thick slices.
3. In a small bowl, stir together the butter and olive oil until smooth.
4. Spread the butter mixture onto one side of each slice of baguette. Place the slices onto a baking sheet buttered side up.
5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly toasted.
