Cake Batter Blondies
So I've been meaning to post about these bad boys for over a month now, but I hadn't had a chance to take a picture of them until now. Each time I've made these I've taken them to some sort of get together and they are always a hit and now my go-to dessert. I mean, what is better than cake in a condensed form? You've got to try these!
Cake Batter Blondies
1 (18.25 oz.) white or yellow cake mix
1/4 cup canola oil
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup sprinkles, plus more for topping
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8” pan and set aside.
2. Combine cake mix, canola oil, egg and milk in a large bowl. Stir until combined. The batter should be thick.
3. Mix in the sprinkles and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
5. Pour into prepared pan and place a few more sprinkles on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are just turning brown. (The blondies will still be gooey in the middle, but after they've completely cooled they will be soft and chewy.)
6. Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes so the center sets before cutting into squares.
i'm gaga for sprinkles. they're cute and good!
